Synopsis

Detective Hwang (Sol Kyung-Gu) leads a specialized surveillance team in the police department. Yoon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo) takes a test to join the team. She’s tested on her observation skills and memorization. She passes her test and becomes the newest member of the surveillance team.

While, Yoon-Joo takes her test, James (Jung Woo-Sung) and his crime group robs a bank. He stands on the rooftop of a nearby building and directs his team’s movements. He doesn’t tolerate any mistakes.

As soon as Yoon-Joo joins the surveillance team, they are tasked to take down James’ criminal group. The surveillance team immediately runs into trouble when they can’t identify any of the robbers due to their masks and their efficiency in robbing the bank. Detective Hwang finds one man caught on CCTV near the bank.

James gets a new order from a mysterious broker (Kim Byung-Ok) and once again completes a heist. While, the surveillance team goes after James, the mysterious broker also looks to take out James. Notes.

Synopsis

Jung-Hwa (Uhm Jung-Hwa) has supported her husband Jung-Min (Hwang Jung-Min) and child until he passed his bar exam at the age of 35. Years later, Jung-Min has opened his own small law office, but their financial situation hasn’t improved very much. Jung-Hwa still teaches aerobics at a gym. She loves to sing and dance.

One night, Jung-Min is drunk and waiting for a subway train. Another man, that is even more drunk, falls onto the train tracks. People gather around, but they don’t know what to do. Jung-Min also looks down at the helpless man and then is accidentally pushed onto the train tracks himself. Right before the subway train arrives, Jung-Min is able to pull the other man and himself to safety. The next morning, Jung-Min answers his door and is surprised to see a throng of reporters outside wanting to interview him.

Meanwhile, Jung-Hwa’s best friend & hair stylist Myung-Ae (Ra Mi-Ran) decides to participate on the TV music talent show “Super Star K.” While they talk about the audition, Jung-Hwa sees her husband on TV.

Jung-Min’s popularity soon soars as he is thought of as a good samaritan. He begins to appear on TV shows and even on advertisements. Jung-Min is then chosen to run as a candidate for the upcoming city mayoral election.

Jung-Hwa and Myung-Ae take part in the auditions for TV show “Super Star K,” but do not make it pass the preliminary stage. Then, Jung-Hwa’s old acquaintance Han-Wi (Lee Han-Wi) spots a TV clip of Jung-Hwa’s audition on Super Star K. Han-Wi works for a talent agency and is putting together a female group. Han-Wi then contacts Jung-Hwa and asks if she wants to join the “Dancing Queens”.

Synopsis

Won Ryu-Hwan (Kim Soo-Hyun) trained in the North Korean Special Forces. He can speak five languages and is also a lethal killing machine. Two years ago, he received orders to deploy to South Korea as a spy.

While wondering in a poor neighborhood in Seoul, Won Ryu-Hwan passed out and was awakened by a worried old mother. The woman then allowed him to live in a small apartment above her modest convenient store and let him work in her store. His identity in South Korea is now Bang Dong-Gu and he has taken up the persona of a goofy, mentally challenged young man. Since that time, Bang Dong-Gu has gotten to know everybody in the neighborhood and has become attached to the woman who treats him like her second son.

One evening, Bang Dong-Gu receives a visitor in his small apartment. His visitor is Lee Hae-Rang (Park Ki-Woong), who trained in the same North Korean Special Forces Unit. Lee Hae-Rang has also received orders from North Korea to work covertly as a spy in South Korea. His persona is that of a young wannabe rock star. Lee Hae-Rang finds it difficult, because he never played the guitar before. Synopsis

Her professional skills of pretense and deceit easily got Young-ju out on parole. On a train to attend her sister’s wedding, she runs into Hee-chul, a man in love with a girl he is just about to propose to. By some bad? or perhaps good? luck Young-ju and Hee-chul run into each other and she mistakes Hee-chul as a bum trying to molest her.

Their first chance encounter turns out quite embarrassing. On top of that a pickpocket steals Hee-chul’s engagement ring! Young-ju is worried that she might be accused of the theft, so she sets out to bring him back the ring. Amidst the hassle, she is left behind on the platform. The train has left, carrying away her own luggage. And all that she has with her is the ring.

Synopsis

Spring - A child monk ties a stone to a back of fish. Same plight awaits a frog and a snake. The child monk roams the brook in search of the fish and the frog as his punishment allotted by the old monk.
Summer - The monk is now 17 years old. To the lonely hermitage, a girl comes to convalesce. Before long, warm feelings towards the girl sprouts in the boy’s heart. Their ripple in the water turns into an act of love.

Fall - The boy returns to the hermitage in the mountains as a young man in his thirties after committing a murder. The old monk whips him finding the young man attempting suicide in front of the statue of Buddha. Old monk order him to etch the Pranja-parpamitasutra, meanwhile he finds peace in his heart.

Winter - The monk, now in his full maturity retraces his steps to the abandoned hermitage in the mountains. A woman wearing a veil visits the hermitage with a baby. She leaves her baby behind and runs away and Spring - The old monk living with another child monk is having a peaceful time in the hermitage…the circle of life keeps on.

Life seems great for the couple, but Soo-Jin’s forgetfulness worsens and she soon learns she a rare form of Alzheimer’s.

Synopsis

A special task force is set up in the area, with two local detectives Park Doo-Man (Song Kang-Ho) and Jo Young-Goo (Kim Roe-Ha) joined by a detective from Seoul who requested to be assigned to the case, Seo Tae-Yoon (Kim Sang-Kyung). Park personifies the policeman who goes with his instincts and his fists, bloodily challenging every small-time crook in the area to confess. In contrast, Seo pores over evidentiary documents related to the case and inevitably the clash of styles leads to tense rivalry.

From the fact that not a single hair is ever found at the scene, Park takes off to search the area’s temples and public baths for people with follicular disease, while Seo finds a pattern in the evidence of women wearing red on a rainy day as the victim’s profile. On a rainy day, the detectives set up a trap in order to forestall another murder. The next day however, yet another woman is found murdered - with an umbrella speared through her pubis. The solution to the murders grows fainter and drives the detectives to ever greater despair.

Synopsis
